RESOLUTION NO. R-117-21 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL ALLOWING THE RECEIPT OF FUNDS <br />TO THE EARLY CARE AND EDUCATION DIVISION OF THE COMMUNITY <br />SERVICES DEPARTMENT VIA THE CALIFORNIA DEPARMENT OF SOCIAL <br />SERVICES AND THE CHILDCARE LICENSED FACILITY STABILIZATION <br />STIPEND. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton, Early Childhood Education Division of the Community <br />7 Services Department holds one (1) California Department of Education (CDE) Contract, and <br />8 one (1) California Department of Social Services (CUSS) Contract, thus considered a CDE and <br />CUSS Funded Agency. <br />9 WHEREAS, CDSS, via COVID-19 Relief Funds from the 21-22 State Budget, is <br />la authorized to award the CA Department of Social Services Childcare Licensed Facility <br />Stabilization Stipend to every Licensed Childcare Program in the State of California. <br />t t WHEREAS, CUSS determined the amount of said stipend by the size of the Facility <br />12 License for each facility. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby resolve as follows: <br />13 Section 1: The staff report accompanying this resolution is found to be true, adopted <br />14 as findings, and incorporated into this resolution. <br />Section 2: City approves the CA Department of Social Services Childcare Licensed <br />15 Facility Stabilization Stipend. <br />t6 Section 3: In order to account for this funding, budget allocations in the Community <br />Childcare Fund for Fiscal Year 2021-2022 are hereby amended as follows: <br />Revenue account <br />206-5889-000 Misc. Grants, shall be increased by $24,500 <br />20Expenditure accounts <br />21206-7200-7207-2304-0000-000 Instructional Materials shall be increased by 24,500 <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of November, 2021. <br />ATTEST: <br />Carolina R.
