R-124-21 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON TO RATIFY ACCEPTANCE OF THE STATE OF <br />CALIFORNIA GRANT AWARD OF $1,500,000 TO PURCHASE A <br />TRACTOR DRAWN AERIAL FIRE TRUCK FOR THE FIRE <br />DEPARTMENT AND TO INCREASE REVENUES AND <br />APPROPRIATIONS IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,500,000 <br />WHEREAS: The City of Colton was awarded funding in the State of California Budget <br />under Senate Bill No. 129, CHAPTER 69, SEC. 19.56, (231) Fire and Public Safety for <br />$1,500,000 to the City of Colton for the City of Colton Fire Department for a fire truck.; and <br />WHEREAS: The re -allocation of appropriations between department activities may be <br />made by the City Manager. Amendments (increaws/decreases) to the budget shall.be by approval <br />and Resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Ratify the acceptance of a $1,500,000 grant from the State of California <br />for the purchase of a tractor drawn aerial fire truck. <br />SECTION 2. Increase FY2021-22 revenues by $1,500,000 in Account Number 225- <br />5879-000 and increase FY2021-22 appropriations in Account Number 225-6090-6091- <br />4910-0000-000 by $1,500,000 to purchase a tractor drawn aerial fire truck. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 16" day of November„2021. <br />I_1 <br />City Clerk <br />
