RESOLUTION NO. R-57 -96 <br />1 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />2 OVERTURNING THE PLANNING COMMISSION DECISION CONCERNING <br />AN ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE PLAN REVIEW, ENVIRONMENTAL <br />3 ASSESSMENT, TENTATIVE TRACT #15610 REVIEW, AND A GENERAL <br />4 PLAN AMENDMENT FROM OFFICE/BUSINESS PARK TO PLANNED <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, AND A ZONE CHANGE FROM BP <br />5 (BUSINESS PARK) TO R-1/PC (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAUPLANNED <br />COMMUNITY), FOR FILE INDEX NUMBER DZGT-12-96/TT # 15610. <br />6 <br />7 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Colton did <br />8 hold a Public Hearing for File Index Number DZGT-12-96/TT # 15610 <br />9 on April 23, 1996, to consider the applicant's request for an <br />10 Architectural and Site Plan Review, Environmental Assessment, <br />Tentative Tract #15610 Review, and a General Plan Amendment from <br />11 <br />Office/Business Park to Planned Community Development, and a Zone <br />12 Change from BP (Business Park) to R-1/PC (Single Family <br />13 Residential/Planned Community), and <br />14 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did deny the request; and <br />15 WHEREAS, the applicant has appealed said decision within the <br />16 required time frame, and <br />17 WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the appeal is justified, <br />18 based on the information provided. <br />19 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br />20 the City of Colton that the finding and decision of the Planning <br />Commission were incorrect and be it further resolved that the City <br />21 Council hereby overturns said finding and decision and thereby <br />22 approves the applicant's appeal. <br />23 PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 78th day of <br />24 June, 1996. <br />25 <br />Be L- Cook <br />26 Mayor Pro Tempore <br />27 ATTEST: <br />28 <br />ALIK FREEMAN <br />City Clerk <br />
