R-68-96 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA REVISING CUSTOMER SERVICE POLICY NUMBERS <br />17 AND 27 TO CONFORM TO CITY ORDINANCE NUMBER 0-07-96 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a general law city, duly organized and existing under the <br />laws of the State of California and situated in the County of San Bernardino; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton has jurisdiction over the implementation <br />of rules and rates for the Electric Utility as propounded in the Customer Service Policy; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted City Ordinance Number 0-07-96 which <br />establishes late fees and early payment discounts on City bills, including Electric Utility bills; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Electric Utility has proposed changes to Customer Service Policy Numbers <br />17 and 27 to incorporate late fees and early payment discounts per Ordinance Number 0-07-96; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council must approve any changes in the Customer Service Policy <br />prior to the implementation of any proposed changes. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Colton City Council finds that it <br />would be appropriate to adopt revisions to Customer Service Policy Numbers 17 and 27 as <br />presented in "Exhibit A" attached and made a part hereof to become effective on July 1, 1996. All <br />previous resolutions amending, modifying or otherwise changing policies and or rate schedules are <br />hereby superseded. <br />PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 18th day of June, 1996. <br />ATTEST: <br />a�man, City Cle <br />Betty L.
