R-70-96 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />ASSESSING PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY BOUNDARIES IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $113,634 FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1996-97. <br />WHEREAS, the people of the City of Colton voted in 1970 to incur a bond indebtedness of <br />$1,220,000 for the purchase of certain improvements of the Electric Utility; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has issued and sold General Obligation Bonds in the amount of <br />$1,220,000; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton requires the total sum of $113,634 for the principal and interest <br />payments due during 1996-97. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Colton is hereby authorized to assess <br />all assessable parcels within the boundaries of the City of Colton the total amount of $113,634 for the <br />1996-97 Fiscal Year; to require the County of San Bernardino Auditor/Controller to compute the tax rate <br />and to collect said sum through the County of San Bernardino Tax Collector. <br />PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED THIS 2ND day of July, 1996. <br />GE RGE V.
