R-03-97 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />TO APPOINT SPECIFIC REPRESENTATIVES <br />TO THE INDEPENDENT CITIES RISK <br />MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY (ICRMA). <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a member of the Independent Cities Risk <br />Management Authority; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a member of the Liability and Workers' <br />Compensation Risk Management Committee (s); and, <br />WHEREAS, the Amendment to Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement for Insurance <br />and Risk Management Purposes dated July 1, 1991, and the Risk Management Committee <br />By -Laws require that an elected official be appointed by resolution to the Governing Board <br />of the Authority and an alternate (the alternate may be a staff member) be appointed by <br />resolution to act in the primary member's absence; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Amendment to Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement for Insurance <br />and Risk Management Purposes dated July 1, 1991, and the Risk Management Committee <br />By -Laws require that a staff member be appointed as a voting member of each Risk <br />Management Committee that the City is a member of and another representative to act in the <br />primary member's absence. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does resolve as follows: <br />Section 1. That the City of Colton appoints the Honorable Betty L. Cook, <br />Councilwoman, to serve on the Governing Board of the Independent Cities Risk <br />Management Authority. <br />January 7, 1997 <br />Resolution No. R-03-97 <br />
