R-33-00 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND DELEGATING AUTHORITY TO <br />THE UTILITY DIRECTOR TO ORDER ACTIONS REQUIRED TO <br />REPAIR WELL NO. 15. <br />WHEREAS, Section 22050 of the State Public Contract Code governs <br />emergency contracting procedures applicable to the City of Colton. <br />WHEREAS, the Colton City Council finds emergency conditions existed at <br />Well No. 15 to insure adequate water and fire flow protection to the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council resolves as <br />follows: <br />1. Thomas K. Clarke, Utility Director, is delegated the authority to order <br />materials and labor to repair Well No. 15 as authorized by Section <br />22050 of the Public Contract Code to respond to the emergencies. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 18th day of April, 2000. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA P.
