R-91-00 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK <br />GRANT PROJECT APPLICATIONS TO THE COUNTY OF SAN <br />BERNARDINO FOR ELIGIBILITY AND QUALIFICATION REVIEW FOR THE <br />FISCAL YEAR 2001-2002. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton elected to enter into a <br />Cooperation Agreement with the County of San Bernardino in order to receive <br />Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds; and, <br />WHEREAS, as a Cooperating City, the City of Colton received $368,000 in <br />Community Development Block Grant funds for Fiscal Year 2000-2001; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City has been informed by the County Department of <br />Economic and Community Development that they are accepting CDBG Project <br />1 <br />Proposal Applications for Eligibility and Qualification Review for the Fiscal Year 2001- <br />2002; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City has received Project Proposal Applications and has <br />conducted community meetings to provide for and encourage citizen participation in <br />developing project proposals. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br />Colton submits the CDBG Project Proposal Applications listed on Attachment "A" to <br />the County of San Bernardino Department of Economic and Community Development <br />to determine eligibility and qualification for the use of CDBG funds for Fiscal Year <br />2001-2002. <br />PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 5th day of December, 2000. <br />ATTEST: <br />61 7i"=::� <br />CAROLINA P.
