R-138-02 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK <br />GRANT PROJECT APPLICATIONS TO THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO <br />FOR ELIGIBILITY AND QUALIFICATION REVIEW FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2003- <br />2004. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton elected to enter into a Cooperation <br />Agreement with the County of San Bernardino in order to receive Community Development <br />Block Grant (CDBG) funds; and, <br />WHEREAS, as a Cooperating City, the City of Colton will receive an unspecified <br />allocation of Community Development Block Grant funds for Fiscal Year 2003-2004; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City has been informed by the County Department of Economic and <br />Community Development that they are accepting CDBG Project Proposal Applications for <br />Eligibility and Qualification Review for the Fiscal Year 2003-2004; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City has received Project Proposal Applications and has conducted <br />community meetings to provide for and encourage citizen participation indeveloping project <br />proposals. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Colton <br />submits the CDBG Project Proposal Applications listed on Attachment "A" to the County of <br />San Bernardino Department of Economic and Community Development to determine eligibility <br />and qualification for the use of CDBG funds for Fiscal Year 2003-2004. <br />PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 3'd day of December, 2002. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA P.
