RESOLUTION NO.R-03-23 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF APPROVING AMENDMENT 01 TO 3 THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES CONTRACT CCTR-2201 4 FOR THE PROVISION OF SCHOOL AGE PROGRAM SERVICES IN EARLY CARE AND EDUCATION DIVISION OF THE COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT 5 FOR FISCAL YEAR 2022-2023 AND AMENDING THE FY2022-23 BUDGET TO MATCH THE CONTRACT AMENDMENT 6 7 WHEREAS, City Council previously accepted the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) School Age Program Contract CCTR—2201 in the amount of$284,644 for 8 fiscal year 2022-2023; and 9 i WHEREAS, the FY 22-23 CDSS Contract CCTR-2201 received after the budget submission for the City of Colton came with revenue amount$267,680,which is$16,964 less than approved by Council. 12 WHEREAS, CDSS offered Amendment 01 to Contract CCTR-2201 in the amount of 13 $47,449 to enable the City of Colton to provide Before, After, and All-Day Program to local 14 families in the grades of TK thru 6th. 15 WHERAS,Due to increases in the rate the State pays for SAP Children,English Language 16 Learners, Special Needs, and Severely Handicapped children, it is believed no extra children will be served. 17 18 NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby resolve as 19 follows: 70 Section 1: The staff report accompanying this resolution is found to be true, adopted as 21 findings, and incorporated into this resolution. Section 2: City approves the State of California Contract CCTR—2201 Amendment 01, for 23 the provision of a School Age Program in the Early Care and Education Division of the 24 Community Services Department. 25 Section 3: Contract CCTR—2201, with Amendment 01 has a total budget of$315,129. 26 Section 4: Amend the adopted FY2022-23 Budget as follows to align the amended contract 27 amount with the City budget: 28 • Increase General Childcare CCTR Revenue Account 206-5777-000 by $30,485.
