1 RESOLUTION NO. R-62-23 <br /> 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br /> AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2023/2024 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT <br /> 3 BUDGET <br /> 4 WHEREAS, the City intends to support the City's goal to improve the City's traffic safety <br /> and infrastructure; and <br /> 5 <br /> 6 WHEREAS, the City of Colton received additional Highway Safety Improvement Program <br /> (HSIP) funding through Caltrans in the amount of $62,733 for HSIP funded — Guardrail <br /> Replacement Project- HSIPSL-5065-032; and <br /> 7 <br /> 8 WHEREAS, HSIP funding will provide for 100% project expenditures and local match is <br /> not required for the Project; and <br /> 9 <br /> WHEREAS, a budget appropriation not listed in the Fiscal Year 2023/2024 budget is <br /> 10 required and must be approved by resolution of the City Council. <br /> 11 NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED,AND ORDERED BY THE CITY <br /> 12 COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1 The Recitals preceding in this Resolution are true and correct and are <br /> 13 incorporated into this Resolution by reference. <br /> 14 Section 2 The City Council authorizes the following amendment for the Fiscal Year <br /> 2023/2024 budget: <br /> 15 <br /> • Increase revenues by $62,733 in account number 225-5886-002; <br /> 16 <br /> 17 • Appropriate $62,733 in account number 225-2239-6150-3890-0000-000 for the HSIP <br /> funded —Guardrail Replacement Project- HSIPSL-5065-032. <br /> 18 <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 18th DAY * 2023. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 <br /> laM <br /> PAVARRO <br /> 22 <br /> Mayor <br /> 23 <br /> 24 ATTEST' <br /> 25 <br /> 26.
