1 RESOLUTION NO. R-72-23 <br /> 2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br /> CALIFORNIA ADOPTING THE MEASURE I FIVE-YEAR CAPITAL PROJECT <br /> 3 NEEDS ANALYSIS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024/2025 TO FY 2028/2029 <br /> 4 WHEREAS the City of Colton is a municipal corporation duly organized and existing <br /> pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"); and <br /> 5 <br /> 6 WHEREAS, San Bernardino County voters approved passage of Measure I in November <br /> 2004, authorizing the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority to impose a one-half of <br /> 7 one percent retail transactions and use tax applicable in the incorporated and unincorporated <br /> territory of the County of San Bernardino; and <br /> 8 <br /> WHEREAS, revenue from the tax can only be used for transportation improvement and <br /> 9 traffic management programs authorized in the Expenditure Plans set forth in Ordinance No. <br /> 10 04-1 of the Authority; and <br /> 11 WHEREAS, , the Strategic Plan requires each local jurisdiction applying for revenue from <br /> the Valley Major Street and Freeway Interchange Programs to annually adopt and update a <br /> 12 Five-Year Capital Project Needs Analysis. <br /> 13 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, STATE OF <br /> CALIFORNIA DOES HEREBY resolve, reaffirm and adopt the Measure I Five-Year Capital <br /> 14 Project Needs Analysis for Fiscal Year 2024/2025 to FY 2028/2029, attached to this resolution. <br /> 15 <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 1st DAY OF AUGUST 2023. <br /> 16 <br /> 17 <br /> 18 <br /> 19 IrA <br /> allal6141 . 1' <br /> Mayor <br /> 21 <br /> ATTEST: <br /> 22 <br /> 23 <br /> 24 <br /> 25 <br /> STEPHANIE M.
