RESOLUTION NO. R-78-23 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br /> AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2023/2024 CAPTIAL OUTLAY AUTOMOBILE <br /> 3 ACCOUNT FOR WATER UTILITY BUDGET <br /> 4 WHEREAS, the Public Works Department desires to purchase one 2024 VHX42 Wet/Dry <br /> Hydro Excavator for the City's Water Utility Division; and <br /> 5 <br /> WHEREAS, the City intends to improve the productivity and efficiency of the staff on <br /> 6 providing water utility repairs and maintenance of the City's potable water system; and <br /> 7 <br /> WHEREAS, a budget appropriation for approved Capital Outlay, not listed in the <br /> 8 2023/2024 Fiscal Year budget is required and must be approved by resolution of the City <br /> Council; and <br /> 9 <br /> 10 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED BY THE CITY <br /> COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 11 <br /> Section 1 The Recitals preceding in this Resolution are true and correct and are <br /> 12 incorporated into this Resolution by reference. <br /> 13 Section 2 The City Council authorizes the following amendment for the Fiscal Year <br /> 14 2023/2024 budget: <br /> 15 • Increase Capital Outlay Automobile Expenditure Account 521-8100-8101-4910 in the <br /> amount of$592,683.27 <br /> 16 <br /> 17 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 1st DAY OF August 2023. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 t. <br /> 4=24' 0. ► 1 t <br /> 20 ' RAN1"�A - •' <br /> 21 <br /> 22 ATTEST: <br /> 23 , <br /> 24 /!�_ �i/fir <br /> STEPHANIE M.
