1 RESOLUTION NO„ 2452 <br /> 2 <br /> • WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Colton did initiate <br /> 3 <br /> the proposal to consider the amendment of the Circulation Element of the <br /> 4 <br /> General Plan by adding certain streets and the realignment of certain streets <br /> 5 <br /> and highways according to a map on file in the City Engineer's Office, and <br /> 6 <br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the proposed revision of the <br /> 7 <br /> Planning Commission on the 10th day of March, 1964 and by the City Council <br /> 8 <br /> of the City of Colton on the 7th day of April, 1964, <br /> 9 <br /> WHEREAS, it satisfactorily appears to the City Council that the public <br /> 10 <br /> interest, necessity, convenience and general welfare will best be served by <br /> 11 <br /> the approval of the amendment of the Circulation Element of the Comprehensive <br /> 12 <br /> General Plan as recommended by the Planning Commission as set forth in its <br /> 13 <br /> Resolution No, 397. <br /> 14 <br /> THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Colton that <br /> 15 <br /> the Circulation Element of the Comprehensive General Plan be amended as <br /> 16 <br /> follows: <br /> 17 <br /> 1. Reclassifying Washington Street to a Divided Major Highway 120' <br /> 18 right of way. <br /> 19 2, The addition of a Secondary highway 88' right of way, West from <br /> Grand, South of Agua Mansa Road„ <br /> 20 <br /> 3.
