I � <br /> 1 RESOLUTION NO. 2439 <br /> 2 RESOLUTION ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT OF THAT PORTION <br /> OF REDLANDS AVENUE FROM LAUREL STREET TO RIALTO <br /> 3 AVENUE ADJACENT TO REDLANDS AVENUE PROM THE NORTHER- <br /> LY LINE OF LAUREL STREET TO THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF <br /> 4 RIALTO AVENUE ADJACENT TO LOTS 116 THROUGH 129 <br /> INCLUSIVE AND LOT 133 OF LOTHIANS SUBDIVISION OF <br /> 5 BLOCK 10, 19 AND PART OF 20 OF THE COLTON LAND AND <br /> WATER COMPANY AS RECORDED IN BOOK 16, OF MAPS, <br /> 6 PAGE 41 AND 42 RECORDS OF SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, <br /> CALIFORNIA <br /> 7 <br /> The City Council of the City of Colton does ordain and resolve <br /> 8 <br /> as follows: <br /> 9 <br /> 10 SECTION ONE. The City Council of the City of Colton having elected <br /> 11 to proceed under the provisions of Division 5, Page 1, Chapter 2 of the Streets <br /> 12 and Highway Code of the State of California, and having held a public hearing <br /> 13 as provided therein, hereby finds from all the evidence submitted that the <br /> 14 portion of Redlands Avenue from Laurel Street to Rialto Avenue adjacent to <br /> 15 Redlands Avenue from the northerly line of Laurel Street to the southerly line <br /> 16 , of Rialto Avenue adjacent to Lots 116 through 129 inclusive and Lot 133 of <br /> 17 Lothians Subdivision of Blocks 10 and 19 and part of 20 of the Colton Land and <br /> 18 Water Company is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes <br /> 19 and that the public interest and convenience requires the closing of said <br /> r <br /> 2 0 portion of said street. <br /> 1 <br /> 21 SECTION TWO. The City Council hereby orders the vacation of that <br /> 22 portion of Redlands Avenue adjacent to Lots 116 through 129 inclusive and Lots <br /> 23 133 of Lothians Subdivision of Blocks 10, 19 and part of 20 of the Colton Land <br /> 24 <br /> and Water Company as recorded in Book 16 of Maps, Pages 41 and 42 Records of <br /> 25 San Bernardino County, California, provided however that nothing in this <br /> 26 resolution shall in any way effect or disturb any and all easements for public <br /> 27 utilities of the City of Colton now located on or which in the future in <br /> 28 accordance with standard installation practices be reasonably necessary to <br /> 29 locate on, over or across a portion of the premises mentioned herein before and <br /> 30 all said present easements shall remain in full force and effect including right <br /> 51 of ingress and egress to maintain, reconstruct and service said utilities. <br /> Without limitations upon generalities of this Section Two of this <br />
