1 RESOLUTION NO. 2481 <br /> 2 RESOLUTION TO SELL CITY OWNED PROPERTY <br /> IN THE CITY OF COLTON. <br /> 3 <br /> 4 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton, County of San <br /> 5 Bernardino, State of California has found and determined that a portion of <br /> 6 City owned property as herein after described is not required for public use; <br /> 7 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br /> 8 City of Colton, County of San Bernardino as follows: <br /> 9 1. That it is the intention of the City Council at its regular meeting to <br /> ` 10 be held at 7:30 p.m. on the 4th day of August, 1964 in its Council Chambers <br /> 11 in the Civic Center located at 650 North 8th Street to sell to the highest bidder <br /> 12 that certain property hereinafter described, under the terms and conditions <br /> 13 set forth herein, to wit: <br /> 14 That portion of Lot 24 of the Ray Johnston subdivision as shown <br /> on plat recorded in Book 18 of Maps, page 45, Records of San <br /> 15 Bernardino County more particularly described as follows: <br /> 16 BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of said Lot 24; thence <br /> N 89° 36' 07" E, 22' along the Northerly line of Lot 24; <br /> 17 thence S 3° 50' 18" W, 127. 94' to a tangent curve concave <br /> to the Northwest and having a radius of 8. 00'; thence along <br /> 18 said curve through a central angle of 85°45' 49" 11.97'; <br /> thence S 89 °36' 07" W. 4, 57' along a line parallel to and 5' <br /> 19 Northerly of the Southerly line of said Lot 24; thence N 0° <br /> 23'' 53" W, 135' along the Westerly Line of said Lot 24 to <br /> 20 the Point of BEGINNING. <br /> 21 all easements for public utilities of the City of Colton now located on and all <br /> 22 present easements shall remain in full force and effect, <br /> 23 2. Sealed bids must be filed in the office of the City Clerk of the City <br /> 24 of Colton, State of California, located in the Civic Center at 650 North 8th <br /> 25 Street, Colton, California prior to 7:30 p.m. on the 4th day of August, 1964, <br /> 26 which is the day set for public meeting of the City Council to receive and con- <br /> 27 sider said bids. No proposal for the purchase of said property for an amount <br /> 28 less than Four Hundred ($400. 00) Dollars will be considered. <br /> 29 3, That Notice is hereby given pursuant to Article 3, Division 3, <br /> 30 Title 4 of the Government Code of the State of California that any person or <br /> 31 persons desiring to protest the sale of said property may appear before the <br /> 32 City Council and show cause why said sale shall not be made in accordance <br />
