1 RESOLUTION NO. 2481 2 RESOLUTION TO SELL CITY OWNED PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF COLTON. 3 4 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton, County of San 5 Bernardino, State of California has found and determined that a portion of 6 City owned property as herein after described is not required for public use; 7 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the 8 City of Colton, County of San Bernardino as follows: 9 1. That it is the intention of the City Council at its regular meeting to ` 10 be held at 7:30 p.m. on the 4th day of August, 1964 in its Council Chambers 11 in the Civic Center located at 650 North 8th Street to sell to the highest bidder 12 that certain property hereinafter described, under the terms and conditions 13 set forth herein, to wit: 14 That portion of Lot 24 of the Ray Johnston subdivision as shown on plat recorded in Book 18 of Maps, page 45, Records of San 15 Bernardino County more particularly described as follows: 16 BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of said Lot 24; thence N 89° 36' 07" E, 22' along the Northerly line of Lot 24; 17 thence S 3° 50' 18" W, 127. 94' to a tangent curve concave to the Northwest and having a radius of 8. 00'; thence along 18 said curve through a central angle of 85°45' 49" 11.97'; thence S 89 °36' 07" W. 4, 57' along a line parallel to and 5' 19 Northerly of the Southerly line of said Lot 24; thence N 0° 23'' 53" W, 135' along the Westerly Line of said Lot 24 to 20 the Point of BEGINNING. 21 all easements for public utilities of the City of Colton now located on and all 22 present easements shall remain in full force and effect, 23 2. Sealed bids must be filed in the office of the City Clerk of the City 24 of Colton, State of California, located in the Civic Center at 650 North 8th 25 Street, Colton, California prior to 7:30 p.m. on the 4th day of August, 1964, 26 which is the day set for public meeting of the City Council to receive and con- 27 sider said bids. No proposal for the purchase of said property for an amount 28 less than Four Hundred ($400. 00) Dollars will be considered. 29 3, That Notice is hereby given pursuant to Article 3, Division 3, 30 Title 4 of the Government Code of the State of California that any person or 31 persons desiring to protest the sale of said property may appear before the 32 City Council and show cause why said sale shall not be made in accordance
