1 RESOLUTION NO, 2528 <br /> 2 AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2240 AND AMEND- <br /> MENTS THERETO (NO, 2274) <br /> 3 <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Colton as follows: <br /> 4 <br /> 1. That Rule IX Section 8 of Resolution No, 2274 is hereby amended <br /> 5 <br /> to read as follows: <br /> 6 <br /> Section 8. Residence: Regular employees of the City of Colton shall <br /> 7 <br /> live within the City Limits or within five miles of the Civic- Center which is <br /> 8 <br /> located at 650 North 8th Street, Colton and they shall reside within a Colton <br /> 9 <br /> postal delivery area, provided however that regular employees living outside <br /> 10 <br /> the City Limits of Colton on July 1, 1961 may continue to reside at the resi- <br /> 11 <br /> dence they then occupied. New appointees not residing in the designated <br /> 12 <br /> area shall move into the area within thirty (30) days after they complete their <br /> 13 <br /> probationary period.
