I 1I RESOLUTION NO. 2600 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE 3 CITY OF COLTON REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNAR- 4 DINO TO PERMIT THE REGISTRAR OF VOTERS OF SAID COUNTY TO RENDER SPECIFIED SERVICES 51 TO THE CITY OF COLTON RELATING TO THE 6 CONDUCT OF A SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY ON OCTOBER 26, 19 65 . 7 8 WHEREAS, a Special Election is to be held in the City of Colton on 9 October 26, 1965; and • 10 WHEREASa in the course of conduct of said election and in relation 11 thereto it will be necessary to mail sample ballots and polling place inserts 12 to the registered voters of the City and it will facilitate such mailing if the 13 14 Registrar of Voters of the County of San Bernardino will prepare and furnish the 15 City the imprinting of the names and addresses of the registered voters of said 16 city on I.B.M. polling place inserts and •After bursting the forms, to insert the 17 polling place insert, measure argument and sample -ballot into envelopes all to 18 be furnished by the City; and 19 WHEREASa all necessary expense in performing this service shall be 20 paid by the City of Colton; 21 22 NOW,, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby 23 RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDERa as follows: 24 Section 1 . That pursuant to the provisions of Section 22003 of the 25 Elections Code of the State of California, this City Council hereby requests 26 the Board of Supervisors of said County to permit the Registrar of Voters to 27 prepare and furnish to said City, for use in conducting said election to be held 28 October 26, 1965, the imprinting of the names and addresses of the registered 29. voters of said City on I.B.M. polling place inserts and after bursting the forms, 30 31 to insert the polling place insert, measure argument and sample ballots into 32 envelopes, all to be furnished by the City.
