ITEM #9 <br />CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF JUNE 06, 2006 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br />FROM: AMER JAKHER, P.E., PW DIRECTOR / CITY ENGINEER <br />SUBJECT: AUTHORIZE THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR IMPOUND <br />YARD PROJECT PHASE I AND H. <br />DATE: JUNE 06, 2006 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On October 25, 2005 the City's Police Department submitted a resolution for Council approval to <br />construct a tow yard on a City owned lot located on Fogg Street, south of "M" Street. The <br />construction of this project will allow the Police Department to recover costs associated with towed <br />and stored vehicles which were impounded. <br />ANALYSIS/DISCUSSION: <br />The Impound Yard Construction Project will be completed in two phases. The scope of work <br />completed in the first phase included: design of the administrative building, property cleanup, <br />grading and installation of fencing. The second phase included the completion of the following <br />work: completion of fencing, paving, landscaping and installation of a temporary administration <br />building. <br />The construction for the Impound Yard Project Phase I and 11 was completed by the following <br />companies: <br />1.
