R-27-21 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COLTON ADOPTING <br />THE 2020 HOUSING ELEMENT ANNUAL PROGRESS <br />REPORT (APR) FOR THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF <br />HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT (HCD) <br />(GOV. CODE SECTION 65400) <br />WHEREAS, California Legislature requires that each city prepare an annual progress <br />report (APR) on the status of the housing element of its general plan and progress in its <br />implementation using forms and definitions adopted by the Department of Housing and <br />Community Development (HCD) (Gov. Code Section 65400); and <br />WHEREAS, Section 65400 of the Government Code requires the Housing Element <br />Annual Progress Report (APR) to be provided to the legislative body (City Council) for adoption; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton ("City") has prepared the Housing Element Annual <br />Progress Report for 2020. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Colton hereby resolves as follows: <br />SECTION 1. The City hereby adopts the "Housing Element Annual Progress Report - <br />2020," a copy of which is on file at the offices of the City and is available for inspection by the <br />public. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 16th da3(-of MXch, 2021. <br />ATTEST: <br />Carolina R.
