APPROVED BY� <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />Date 20 <br />Item <br />08-SBd-10 PM 20.4/23.7 <br />Freeway Ramp Improvement Project <br />In the City of Colton <br />EA 5A1000 <br />District Agreement No. 8-1361 <br />CONTRIBUTION <br />COOPERATIVE AGREEM <br />ENT <br />This AGREEMENT, entered into effective onA, 2007, is between the <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA, acting by and through its Departent of Transportation, referred to <br />herein as "STATE," and the <br />CITY OF COLTON, a body politic and a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California, referred to <br />herein as "CITY." <br />RECITALS <br />STATE and CITY, pursuant to Streets and Highways Code sections 114 and 130, are <br />authorized to enter into a Cooperative Agreement for improvements to the State Highway <br />System (SHS) within CITY's jurisdiction. <br />2. STATE and CITY desire SHS improvements consisting of rehabilitation of sixteen (16) <br />ramps on Interstate 10 (I-10) between Post Mile 20.4 and Post Mile 23.7 requiring the <br />application of a rubberized slurry seal, installation of a storm drain at Sperry Drive off - <br />ramp, and the installation of an 8 -inch cross -gutter at 9th Street off -ramp, referred to <br />herein as "PROJECT." <br />STATE desires to contribute $125,020 to participate in CITY's construction of <br />PROJECT. <br />4. The parties hereto intend to define herein the terms and conditions under which <br />PROJECT is to be partially financed by this contribution. <br />
