AS THE LOWEST RESPONSIVE AND <br />RESPONSIBLE BIDDER IN THE AMOUNT OF $241,760. <br />DATE: DECEMBER 10, 2007 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On November 18, 2004, staff awarded Andresen Architecture a design agreement for the design of <br />new restrooms for Veterans Park, in the amount of $17,500. This project is identified in the Capital <br />Improvement Project as Veterans Park Restroom Project. This project was submitted to Design <br />Review Committee (DRC) and approved on April 2, 2007. Staff requested and was authorized to <br />bid the construction of the Veterans Park Restroom Project on July 17, 2007. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />As required by the Purchasing Ordinance Section 3.08.050 (c) this public project was formally bid. <br />Bids were opened on November 27, 2007, as advertised.
