Discussion: DATE: June 30, 1993 Expenses )y July 6, 1993, to consider the ion of certain unsound structures icho, 1023 North Mt. Vernon and This public hearing is being held pursuant to Chapter 16, of the Uniform Housing Code, 1988 Edition, Recovery of Cost of Repair or Demolition. All notice uirements have been met and the Council can proceed to hear any objections from the property owners on the total cost of demolition for each parcel. Following the close of the public hearing, the City Council shall act on the following: 1. Order that the assessment charge shall be a personal obligation or a special assessment against the property. 2. Determine, at its discretion, whether the assessments in amounts of $500.00 or more shall be payable in not to exceed five equal annual installments. 3. Confirm or reject the Demolition Cost Report of the Building Official. The Council's actions and determinations shall be in the , resolution. Staff has prepared a resolution for Council's c demolition cost to be a special assessment against the property assessment to be paid over five equal annual installments with per annum.
