CITY OF COLTON <br />%%%pOf oo ra,aa <br />- ........ter.. <br />AGENDA REPORT 1897 , <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING JUNE 15, 1993 0 l Oto, <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL DATE: JUNE 9, 1993 <br />FROM: JOHN HUTTON <br />PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR <br />I?�i�'� <br />SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF MASTER FUNDING AGREEMENT RESOLUTION FOR STATE FUNDING <br />OF RANCHO AVENUE TRAFFIC SIGNAL INTERCONNECT PROJECT <br />BACKGROUND <br />The City of Colton applied for State Traffic Safety Management funds for the <br />interconnection of traffic signals along Rancho Avenue I-10 ramping to "C" <br />Street. <br />DISCUSSION <br />Staff prepared the grant application and engineering estimates for new <br />traffic controllers and the interconnection of these controllers along Rancho <br />Avenue and was successful in being awarded a grant for the work in the amount <br />of 119,000.00 dollars from the state program. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />There is no financial impact to the City as the program funds 100% of the <br />project cost. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS <br />In order for the City to receive reimbursement from the State Funding Traffic <br />Safety Management Program, approval of the attached resolution approving the <br />State - Local Entity Program Supplemental Agreement is required.
