CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF AUGUST 6,1996 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR & CITY COUNCIL <br />APPROVAL: MALIK DANTALA FREEMAN, INTERIM CITY MANAGER <br />FROM: GRACIE FERNANDEZ HARMON, PERSONNEL DIRECTOR <br />SUBJECT: RATIFICATION OF EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT TO THE FULL TEWE <br />POSITION OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS COORDINATOR IN THE <br />FINANCE DEPARTMENT <br />DATE: JULY 22,1996 <br />BACKGROUND: There is one (1) Information Systems Coordinator position vacant in the Finance <br />Department. This position became vacant on February 29, 1996. Attached is the job description for <br />the classification; salary range is $3,001 - $3,649 per month. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: Recruitment for said position was conducted and an eligibility list was <br />established. The candidate being referred for Council ratification meets the education and experience <br />requirements as specified in the job description. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: This is a general fund position and is funded for the 1996-97 fiscal year as <br />follows: Account No. 01-1309-01 (salary) and Account No. 01-1309-10 (salary related benefits). <br />Anna A.
