59 <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />CITY OF COLTON <br />For Cuy Counca .Nssdna of <br />July 1, I9M <br />/rine 26. 199E <br />TO: MAYOR FULP, CITY COUNCIL AND CITY MANAGER <br />FROM: Julie Hayward Biggs, City At <br />SUBJECT: Resolution Regarding Restriction of Wastewater Capital Improvement Funds <br />At the City Council meeting held on June 18, 1996, this office was directed to <br />prepare a resolution requiring the establishment of a separate account for the portion of <br />wastewater revenues generated for capital improvement purposes. Review of my notes on this <br />resolution seem to indicate that although the direction was given, later discussion led the Council <br />to the conclusion that the adoption of Resolution R-61-96 which requires separate accounts for <br />reserve funds within the City would sufficiently limit use of the wastewater funds for capital <br />improvement purposes. <br />Because the record is not entirely clear, however, I would respectfully ask that <br />the Council confirm its direction at this time. <br />ITEM 25 <br />
