CLARKE, INTERIM WATER & WASTEWATER DIRECTOR <br />SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF EMERGENCY PURCHASE OF DIFFUSER QTS DOMES <br />AND RINGS FOR THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $6,909.52 AND APPROVAL OF ENVIROQUIP <br />INTERNATIONAL, INC. AS THE SUPPLIER <br />DATE: SEPTEMBER 23, 1996 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Wastewater Treatment Plant's diffuser QTS domes and rings have been in a <br />daplipated state for a few years, and need to be immediately replace to amain in <br />compliance with the Cease and Desist Order No. 95-36, and the Title 22 Repairs. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />The Wastewater Superintendent has received quotes for diffuser domes, and has <br />determined that Enviroquip International, Inc. has be lowest price available. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />The FY96-97 Wastewater Operations and Maintenance Budget includes funds for the <br />repairs to the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Sufficient funds are available in the <br />Wastewater Building and Grounds Account No. 522-8200-2250. <br />I nomas K.
