r <br />W <br />CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 3, 1996 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR & CITY COUNCIL <br />APPROVAL: MALIK DANTALA FREEMAN, INTERIM CITY MANAGER <br />FROM: GRACIE FERNANDEZ HARMON, PERSONNEL DMECTO <br />�0 <br />SUBJECT: RATIFICATION OF EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT TO THE FULL-TE%IE <br />POSITION OF POLICE DISPATCHER I IN THE POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT <br />DATE: AUGUST 26,1996 <br />BACKGROUND: There is one (1) vacant Police Dispatcher I position in the Police Department. <br />Attached is the job description for the classification; salary range is $1,748 - $2,126 per month. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: Recruitment for said position is being conducted on a continuous basis. <br />Written examinations were conducted and an eligibility list was established. The candidate being <br />referred for Council ratification meets the education and experience requirements as specified in the <br />job description. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: This is a general fund position and is funded for the 1996-97 fiscal year as <br />follows: Account No. 01-2006-01 (salary) and Account No. 01-2006-10 (salary related benefits). <br />Bernard 0.
