CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF DECEMBER 16,1997 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor & City Council <br />APPROVAL: Len Wood, Interim City Manager <br />FROM: Dennis Morris, Interim Personnel Director <br />SUBJECT: Claim Against the City Submitted by Dianne North - Recommend Denial <br />-IDATE: December 1, 1997 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />In accordance with the procedures adopted to insure proper and efficient handling of Liability <br />Claims against the City of Colton, the attached report has been received from the City's Liability <br />Claims Administrator. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />Claimant has filed a claim against the City. Evaluation of this claim reflects that this case would be <br />highly questionable or no liability on the part of the City of Colton. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />Not applicable. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the above -listed claim be denied to commence the Statute of Limitations. <br />DM:vlp <br />Item # 6 <br />
