Hutton <br />Director of Public Works <br />SUBJECT: Approve the Caltrans Program Supplement No.012 and the Authorizing <br />Resolution for the Various Seismic Retrofit Bridges - Locations, 54C-007, <br />078, 079, 375, 384, 599 and 634 <br />DATE: February 10, 1997 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The City of Colton applied for Federal -Aid Funds for the Seismic Retrofit of various <br />bridges located in the City. As part of the Program Supplement Agreement Update, the <br />Department of Transportation Office of Local Programs requires the City of Colton to <br />provide a Certified Authorizing Resolution and sign the Agreement Document (Form <br />PR -2). <br />DISCUSSION: <br />Staff has prepared the Resolution as required for Program Supplement Agreement No. <br />012 to Local Agency - State Agreement for Federal Aid Project NO. 08-5065. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />This program is 100% reimbursed by Caltrans, no local funding is required. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />None. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />In order for the City to receive reimbursement from the Department of Transportation <br />Office of Local Programs, Staff recommends adoption of the attached Resolution <br />approving the official name and signature authorized to execute the Agreement. <br />CITY MANAGER'S CONCURRENCE: <br />JH/JK/bjw <br />Report Prepared BY James King, Engineering Specialist <br />Page_ of _ <br />Attachments Resolution <br />Item No. 9 <br />
