CLARKE, UTILITY DIRECTOR `tom—' <br />BJECT: ACCEPTANCE OF THE DOMECQ BACK-UP GENERATOR PROJECT <br />AS 100% COMPLETE AND AUTHORIZE THE FILING OF THE <br />NOTICE OF COMPLETION <br />DATE: JUNE 23, 1997 <br />BACKGROUND <br />At the September 3, 1996 Council meeting, Council awarded a contract to Engineered <br />Systems for the Domecq Back-up Generator project. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />All work has been completed, as per the bid specifications and State .Department of <br />Health Services requirements. The contractor has requested final acceptance of the <br />project:, and filing of the notice of completion. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />None, the funds for the project have already been approved by Council and <br />enc,uMbered in FY96-97 <br />Thomas K. Clarke, Utility Director <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that Council accept the Domecq Back-up Generator repairs as <br />100% complete and authorize the filing of the notice of completion. <br />Report Prepared By: Lorraine June <br />Item # 10 <br />
