CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF JUNE 17,1997 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor & City Council i <br />APPROVAL: Gracie Fernandez Harmon, Acting City Manager <br />FROM: Gracie Fernandez Harmon, Personnel Director <br />SUBJECT: Claims Against the City Submitted by: Robert Jensen, Robert Lundberg <br />and James Francis Yeardley - Recommend Denial <br />DATE: June 9, 1997 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />In accordance with the procedures adopted to insure proper and efficient handling of Liability <br />Claims against the City of Colton, the attached reports have been received from the City's Liability <br />Claims Administrator. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />Claimants have each filed a claim against the City. Evaluation of these claims reflects that these <br />cases would be highly questionable or no liability on the part of the City of Colton. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />Not applicable. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the above -listed claims be denied to commence the Statute of Limitations. <br />GFH:amv <br />..._.. _._. <br />Item No. 5 <br />
