CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />DUPLICATE <br />For the Council Meeting of May 20, 1997 <br />To: Honorable Mayor & City Council <br />Approval: Malik Freeman, City Manager <br />From: Randy Anstine, Neighborhood Services Direc r- <br />Subject: Acceptance of the Veteran's Park Protective Surfacing <br />Project as 100% Complete, and Authorize the Filing of <br />the Notice of Completion <br />Date: May 7, 1997 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />At the January 21, 1997 Council meeting, Council awarded a contract to Spectraturf for <br />the Veteran's Park Protective Surfacing Project. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />All work has been completed, as per bid specifications and San Bernardino County <br />Department of Economic and Community Development requirements. The contractor <br />has requested final acceptance of the project, and filing of the Notice of Completion. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />None. Funding for this project was approved by Council and encumbered in FY 96/97 <br />through the Community Development Block Grant Program. <br />i <br />Randy Anstine, Neighborhood Services Director <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that Council accept the Veteran's Park Playground Protective Surface <br />Project as 100% complete and authorize the filing of the Notice of Completion. <br />Item No. 13 <br />
