HUTTON, DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORK <br />SUBJECT: APPROVE ATTACHED RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING <br />SUBMITTAL FOR USED OIL GRANT PROGRAM <br />DATE: OCTOBER 1, 1997 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />At the Council meeting of September 2, 1997 the Colton City Council reviewed a <br />proposal by Thomsen Environmental Consultants to submit a grant proposal to the <br />State for a Community Used Oil Grant Program. <br />Upon review of the program, the Council approved implementing the program, but did <br />not take action on a required Resolution approving application to the Sate of California <br />for grant funds for the Used Oil Grant Program. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />See attached Council Agenda Report dated September 2, 1997. _ <br />ALTERNATIVES: <br />See attached Council Agenda Report dated September 2, 1997. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />See attached Council Agenda Report dated September 2, 1997. <br />Item # 14 <br />
