CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For the Council Meeting of October 21, 1997 <br />To: Honorable Mayor & City Council <br />Approval: Len Wood, Interim City Manager —Jal—D <br />From: Randy Anstine, Neighborhood Services Directcfri <br />Subject: Acceptance of the Luque Community Center Exterior <br />Painting Project as 100% Complete, and Authorize the <br />Filing of the Notice of Completion <br />Date: October 14, 1997 <br />LiF <br />BACKGROUND: <br />At the July 29, 1997 Council meeting, Council awarded a contract to Blue Moon Painting <br />and Decorating for the exterior painting of the Luque Community Center. <br />DISC USSIONIANALYSIS: <br />All work has been completed, as per bid specifications and San Bernardino County <br />Department of Economic and Community Development requirements. The contractor <br />has requested final acceptance of the project, and filing of the Notice of Completion. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />None. Funding for this project was approved by Council and encumbered in FY 96/97 <br />through the Community Development Block Grant Program. <br />Randy Anstine,14eighborhood Services Director <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that Council accept the Exterior Painting of the Luque Community <br />Center Project as 100% complete and authorize the filing of the Notice of Completion. <br />Item No. 10 <br />
