Article XV. <br />Section 16.a. Increasing State Speed Limit in Certain Zones. It is hereby <br />determined upon the basis of an engineering and traffic investigation that the speed <br />limit permitted by State Law upon the following streets is less than is necessary for <br />safe operation of vehicles thereon by reason of the designation and sign -posting of <br />said streets as through highways and (or) by reason of widely spaced intersections <br />and it is hereby declared that the prima facie speed limit shall be as hereinafter set <br />forth on those streets or parts of streets herein designated when signs are erected <br />giving notice thereof: <br />"Section 16A: The following Speed Limits are designated: <br />1. Agua Mansa Road 45 MPH <br />from Riverside Avenue to Rancho Avenue <br />2. Barton Road 50 MPH <br />from Hilltop Drive to Washington Street <br />3. "G" Street 35 MPH <br />from Meridian Avenue to Colton Avenue <br />4. Calton Avenue 40 MPH <br />from "E" Street to North City Limits <br />5. Cooley Drive 40 MPH <br />from Cooley Lane to Washington Street <br />Item No. 15 <br />
