SORK, FIRE MARSHALFO <br />TOM HENDRIX, ACTING FIRE CHIE <br />SUBJECT: Set for Public Hearing, for the meeting of August 18, 1998, a <br />Resolution pertaining to weed abatement and the placement <br />of parcels on the County Property Assessment Tax Rolls. <br />JDATE: July 21, 1998 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The City's Spring Weed Abatement Program is now complete. Approximately 80 parcels <br />were abated during the Spring 1998 Program and approximately 50 were abated during the <br />Fall, 1997 Program. <br />DISCUSSION <br />At this time, a Public Hearing is required to consider the Report of Costs and to hear any <br />objections from property owners liable to be assessed for the abatement. <br />ALTERNATIVES: <br />None <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />CITY OF COLTON <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />Item # 7 <br />
