WATER <br />AND SEWER LINE INSTALLATION AS 100% COMPLETE, AND <br />AUTHORIZE THE FILING OF THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION <br />DATE: JANUARY 13, 1998 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On July 15, 1997 Council awarded a contract to EI -Co Contractors, Inc., for the water <br />and sewer line installation project in conjunction with the County Hospital construction <br />project. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />All work has been completed, as per the bid specifications. The contractor has <br />requested final acceptance of the project, and the filing of the notice of completion. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />None, the funds for the project have already been approved by Council and <br />encumbered in FY97-98. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that Council accept the Pepper Ave. and Valley Blvd. water and <br />sewer line installation project as 100% complete and authorize the filing of the notice of <br />completion. <br />Report Prepared By: Lorraine June <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />Item # 10 <br />
