CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF JANUARY 13,1998 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor & City Council <br />APPROVAL: Henry Garcia, City Managers <br />FROM: Dennis Morris, Interim Personnel Director <br />SUBJECT: Claims Against the City Submitted by Conan Behr, Malik; Freeman and <br />Cornerstone Appraisal - Recommend Denial <br />DATE: December 17,1997 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />In accordance with the procedures adopted to insure proper and efficient handling of Liability <br />Claims against the City of Colton, the attached reports have been received from the City's Liability <br />Claims Administrator. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />Claimants have filed claims' against the City. Evaluation of these claims reflect that these cases <br />would be highly questionable or no liability on the part of the City of Colton. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />Not applicable. <br />RECOMMENDATION• <br />Staff recommends that the above -listed claims be denied to commence the Statute of Limitations. <br />DM:vlp <br />
