All of these cases have been adjudicated <br />and the money has not been claimed. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALY I , • The police Department has ,received a ,court order to release these <br />funds to the City of Colton General Fund. Moneys for capital improvements and capital outlay <br />have been restricted which is most evident in the deteriorated condition of the carpeting, a <br />malfunctioning air conditioner and broken chairs within the police facility. The carpeting and <br />chairs in both offices and open areas, as well as the central air conditioning unit, need to be <br />replaced. These funds would meet those replacement needs. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: Funds to be added to the 1997/98 fiscal year budget miscellaneous <br />revenue account number 100-6773 $20,433.31 <br />Replacement of carpeting for police department not to exceed 15 000.00 <br />Replacement of air conditioning unit for police building 1,433.00 <br />(account number 100-6070-6080-2250) _ <br />Replace chairs for offices and open areas within police building not to exceed 4.000.00 <br />(account number 100-6070-6080-2301) <br />Total $20 4__i_33.00 <br />.,Q <br />Bernard O.
