CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For the Council Meeting of January 13, 1998 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL <br />APPROVAL: HENRY GARCIA, CITY MANAGER <br />FROM: TOM CLARKE, UTILITY DIRECTOR' <br />SUBJECT: ACCEPTANCE OF THE RECHE CANYON WATER LINE RELOCATION <br />AS 100% COMPLETE, AND AUTHORIZE THE FILING OF THE NOTICE <br />OF COMPLETION <br />DATE JANUARY 7 1998 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On July 15, 1,997 Council awarded a contract to EI -Co Contractors, Inc., for the water <br />line relocation project in *Recite Canyon Road, which was required. by the County of <br />San Bernardino in order to widen the street <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />All work has been completed, as per the bid specifications. The contractor has <br />requested final acceptance of the project, and the filing of the notice of completion. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />None, the funds for the project have already been approved by Council and <br />encumbered in FY97=98. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that Council accept the Reche Canyon Water line relocation project <br />as 100% complete and authorize the filing of the notice of completion. <br />Report Prepared By: Lorraine June <br />Page 1 of 1 hem # 22 <br />i <br />
