Gaytan for Karl E. 6r ytan <br />Intergovernmental Agency Appointment - SBIAA/IVDA <br />COUNCIL MEETING OF MARCH 10, 1998 <br />Since the merger of the San Bernardino International Airport Authority (SBIAA) and the Inland <br />Valley Development Agency (IVDA), Colton has not made an official appointment to fill the <br />seat of Alternate Board Member. The current Board Members representing the City of Colton on <br />the SBIAA/IVDA are, as follows: <br />• Board Member - Mayor Karl E. Gaytan, Board Member <br />• Board Member - Mayor Pro Tem Betty L. Cook <br />• Alternate Board Member- Vacant <br />Regular SBIAA/IVDA Board Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4`h Wednesday of every <br />month. Attached is the schedule of IVDA/SBIAA Board Meetings for 1998. <br />This is a formal recommendation requesting Councilmember Donald J. Sanders to serve as the <br />Alternate Board Member on the SBIAA/IVDA. Due to Councilmember Sanders' expertise in <br />the aerospace industry, this appointment is highly recommended. Accordingly, I hereby appoint <br />Councilmember Donald J. Sanders to assume his position effective immediately as the Alternate <br />Board Member on the San Bernardino International Airport Authority/Inland Valley <br />Development Agency.
