GARCIA, CITY MANAGE <br />FROM: DENNIS MORRIS, HUMAN RESOURCE DIRECTOR <br />SUBJECT: USE OF FLEMING PARK <br />DATE: MAY 11, 1998 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Door Christian Fellowship will be holding a Drama Presentation on Saturday May, <br />23, 1998 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. This Church organization is requesting use of <br />Fleming Park it will be open to the public and help bring the community together. <br />The Praise Chapel Christian Fellowship will also be holding a Drama Presentation on <br />Saturday May 30, 1998 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Church organization is <br />requesting use of Fleming Park, it will be open to the public for future Anti -Gang & <br />Drug Rally's .Reach out to Gang Members and Drug Users. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />There are no cleaning costs due to clean up of the park by the Public Works Staff on the <br />next regular work day, Monday. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />NONE <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that Council approve the request of these two Organizations for use of <br />Fleming Park on May 23, 1998 and May 30, 1998. <br />PREPARED BY: Cecilia Hernandez, Neighborhood Services Coordinator <br />Item # 6 <br />
