SORK, FIRE MARSHAL <br />SUBJECT: Set for Public Hearing, for the meeting of August 17, 1999, a <br />Resolution pertaining to weed abatement and the placement <br />of parcels on the County Property Assessment Tax Rolls. <br />TE: <br />BACKGROUND: <br />July 21, 1999 <br />The City's Spring Weed Abatement Program is now complete. Approximately 90 parcels <br />were abated during the Spring, 1999 Program and approximately 50 were abated during the <br />Fall 1998 Program. <br />DISCUSSION <br />At this time, a Public Hearing is required to consider the Report of Costs and to hear any <br />objections from property owners liable to be assessed for the abatement. <br />ALTERNATIVES: <br />None <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />Item #22 <br />
