HUTTON, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTORt <br />SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR RECRUITMENT AND RATIFICATION OF <br />EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT IN THE PART-TIME PERMANENT <br />POSITION OF OFFICE SPECIALIST II IN THE PUBLIC WORKS <br />DEPARTMENT, CEMETERY DIVISION. <br />DATE: AUGUST 4, 1999 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />There is one (1) part-time vacant Office Specialist II position in the Public Works <br />Department. Attached is the job description of the classification; the amount approved <br />in the budget is $9,329. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />Recruitment for said position will be conducted and an eligibility list established upon <br />Council approval.
