CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />Council Meeting of February 16, 1999 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and Council Members <br />I <br />APPROVAL: Henry T. Garcia, City Manage <br />FROM: Daryl J. Parrish, Assistant City Manager <br />SUBJECT: Acceptance of Easement from the Santa Ana Watershed Project <br />Authority ("SAWPA") <br />DATE: February 8, 1999 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The City of Colton requested an easement from the Santa Ana Watershed Project <br />Authority ("SAWPA") to accommodate the proposed future alignment of Agua Mansa <br />Road. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />The SAWPA Board approved our request for an easement along the north property line <br />of the RIX Facility Property accommodating our request on November 3, 1998 and <br />executed the required documentation on November 14, 1998. The documents <br />memorializing the grant of the easement from SAWPA to Colton have been prepared <br />and will be forwarded to the County Recorder for recordation purposes upon the City of <br />Colton City Council's acceptance of this easement. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />There is no fiscal impact as a result of this action. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the City Council accept the attached grant of easement from the <br />Santa Ana Watershed Project Authority ("SAWPA"). <br />Attachments <br />Item # 13 <br />
