Item #11 <br />CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING OF MARCH 26, 2002 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br />FROM: AMER JAKHER, CITY ENGINEER"` �' J <br />SUBJECT: FINAL ACCEPTANCE / NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR 2001-2002 <br />PAVEMENT REHABILITATION PROJECT, PHASE H — MATICH <br />CORP. <br />DATE: MARCH 11, 2002 <br />BACKGROUND <br />The 2001/2002 Pavement Rehabilitation Project consisted of curb to curb paving rehabilitation of <br />various streets. The project included additional work approved by City Council on June 11, 2001, of <br />streets deleted from 2000/2001 Pavement Rehabilitation Project, Phase I, Fire Station One / Ken <br />Hubbs Parking Lot, Fleming Park Alley and various Water and Sewer Utility paving. <br />The Project was approved and awarded to Matich Corporation at an estimated cost of $459,459.00 <br />and a. A change order in the amount of $71,749.59 was approved by City Council. The final cost of <br />the project was $593,749.59. <br />ANALYSIS/DISCUSSION: <br />The contractor completed the work, as specified in the contract, meeting and satisfying all <br />requirements. The records indicate that this project was completed within the allowable working days. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />There is no environmental impact generated by this action <br />
