CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 7, 2004 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL <br />FROM: Amer Jakher, P.E., City Engineer <br />Item #7 <br />SUBJECT: Approval for the Recruitment and Ratification of employee <br />appointment to the full-time position of Maintenance Worker I, in the <br />Public Services Department, Streets Division. <br />DATE: <br />August 30, 2004 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />There is one (1) Maintenance Worker II position that is currently vacant in Streets Division of the <br />Public Services Department. To realize savings, staff is requesting to underfill this position with a <br />Maintenance Worker I. The salary range for Maintenance Worker I is $2,482 to $3,018 per month. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />Recruitment for said position will be conducted and an eligibility list established upon council <br />approval.
