AND LITTON AVE., IN <br />THE CITY OF COLTON. <br />DATE: APRIL 11, 2005 <br />The existing right-of-way at the southeast comer of Bostick Ave. and Litton Ave. is not sufficient to <br />allow the street improvements necessary for this intersection. The proposed street improvement <br />includes the installation of new curb, gutter, sidewalk, handicap ramp, and street widening. The <br />property owner at 280 Litton Ave. (APN 0275-082-11), Roberto Garcia and Maria E. Garcia, had <br />agreed to dedicate the necessary fight -of -way at no cost to the City of Colton. A signed copy of the <br />grant deed is attached as Exhibit "A". <br />ANALYSIS/DISCUSSION: <br />The existing right-of-way at the southeast comer of that intersection is not sufficient to allow the <br />proposed street improvements. The property owner had agreed to dedicate additional lands for <br />public use in order to accommodate the installation of the required street improvements. City crew <br />will construct all the necessary street improvements. These improvements will increase the safety of <br />the motorist and pedestrian at this intersection. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />This action does not have an environmental impact. <br />
