AS THE LOWEST <br />RESPONSIVE AND RESPONSIBLE BIDDER <br />DATE: MAY 31, 2005 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Police Department HVAC Replacement Project consists of furnishing of all labor, materials, <br />equipment and tools necessary for the installation of the Air Conditioning systems and temporary <br />cooling system for Colton's Police Department. <br />On April 20, 2005, the Police Department HVAC Replacement Project was advertised and the bid <br />opening was conducted on May 18, 2005. Staff received formal bids from two (2) firms, with their <br />corresponding bid amount as follows: <br />1. Pardess Air Inc. <br />2. Industrial Air Innovations <br />$ 172,000.00 (Optional Item: $ 8,000.00) <br />$ 203,792.00 (Optional Item Included) <br />ANALYSIS/DISCUSSION: <br />Upon review, City staff found that Pardess Air Inc is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder <br />in the amount of $ 172,000.00 with optional bid item in the amount of $ 8,000.00 that calls for <br />providing temporary cooling system during construction. <br />CONFLICT OF INTEREST: <br />Exact Business Name: Pardess Air Inc. <br />President or equal: Mozaffar Shaye <br />Contact or representative: Gloria Go <br />
